Churches

The David Schlicker Stained Glass Studio has adorned churches throughout Oregon, Washington and Idaho, even beautifying a hospital chapel in Florida. Many churches request that window design and theme reflect the age and architecture of the church building or be made to match existing original windows. These often require replication of literal religious symbols by painting glass and firing in a kiln. Contemporary designs might evoke reverence through the use of color, glass type and lead line placement. We can provide examples of all possibilities along the spectrum. Restoration and protection of aging stained glass windows constitutes a major portion of the studio's work. David's vast experience, knowledge of the craft and its history, insures expert advice and workmanship.
